im back after finishing my book during chem
ok so i just finished the 2nd book of the selection and like??? i am so confused?? its like hunger games but instead of killing each other they just fight for the prince?? and aspen is like gale and maxon is peeta and america is katniss and may is prim. ohmygod what if may dies. no. no. she wont die. i hope not. if she dies i will kill myself.
anyways so then maxon is like not paying as much attn to america but like?? he's still in love with her?? and his dad hates america for bringing up the project and maxon got caned for giving her a super impt diary?? which is so weird but anyways i hate aspen sm he's like manipulating america into thinking that maxon hates her but like maxon is so cool he literally defied his dad (the king) for america and gave her a bracelet which was super impt to him. but then aspen also gave her a bracelet so she's so confused??? technically she has more memories with aspen and like more impt moments but i still think maxon is cooler. ok but tbf aspen was rlly poor but still tried to give her stuff but then maxon and america have chemistry. but she doesn't want to leave maxon but she doesnt want to break aspen's heart either. but then aspen works for maxon now (aspen is a guard at the palace) so idk. she sneaks out to see both of them sometimes. ok another part that was so confusing was marlee. like she left in the weirdest way possible?? she became an eight (like their social status- eight is lowest and one is highest) after liking someone other than maxon?? which is so messed up. and then marlee and america can't talk to each other that much also anymore. but at least she marlee got to marry the person she wanted to. and maxon let both of them secretly work in the palace so that america would be able to see marlee more because maxon is lowkey a simp for america. also celeste is so annoying she's like a pick me combined with teacher's pet which is so weird. and i think she can go away but then there's the thing where everyone likes her so?? ughhusdljhf this book has like the perfect amt of every genre
ok so here's my prediction for the next book: aspen would probably end up with like kriss (her friend aka one of the people she's competing with for maxon) or something. and then america would marry maxon after a lot of persuasion and then she would like change the whole country and make it better but maxon's dad would hate her but like #girlboss so she wouldnt care. and then celeste would like go back and then she would try to make up for her rudeness and stuff but then america would have said bad stuff about her so she would be hated by the citizens (actually maybe not the celeste part but idk i'll see)
i will try to remember to come back here and see how true my predictions are after finishing the 3rd book bc apparently the 4th and 5th one are abt her daughter
ohmygod the post is so long wow but i realised no one cares but its ok i have no one else to talk to about this. i wish you could voice msg a blog. that would be cool and easier than typing out everything. but then it's weird cuz technically the whole world can hear your voice which would be rlly creepy...
my brother keeps coming to me and going "neoun" which is so creepy and he pretended to do cpr and compressed my stomach and then i just burst out laughing
i watched moon knight yesterday and it was so wow?? there were sm jump scares but like when steven turned into moon knight and started fighting it was so cool?? and when marc (is that his name i forgot) like followed him or smth n called him "steven grant of the gift shop" i found it so funny. also moon knight gives me ghost (from ant man and the wasp) plus wanda vibes?? idk maybe its just me. like the white clothes gives me ghost vibes and the moving into diff realities (if thats what it is) gives me wanda vibes
on the topic of marvel, i'm SO EXCITED FOR MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS!!!! LIKE EVIL WANDA??? as much as idw her to be evil and stuff, it's going to be so cool !!! im so exciteddddd ahhhhhhhh

my parents actually think im studying but im actually here LOL i should probably study though so yeah i'll go start on hw
