Welcome to my humble palace.
Hello everybody...I regret to announce that I am back, with a sole purpose, to complain about how unbelievably awful and tiring today has been. Firstly, I woke up, thank god my curtains are always drawn close because I hate the sun. I read for 2 hours before deciding to man up, and sit up, and get ready to go out. I sprayed my W Dressroom Morning Rain Perfume before leaving the house because that's how I have been nowadays. Then, I met up with Wendy at the bus stop, thankfully, she was not late, and was right on time, unlike other instances when I met up with her in the past. Simultaneously, the bus arrived, I felt as lucky as a lark because we did not have to wait bitterly for the bus. We had a silent bus ride. I did not have the mood to start a conversation, due to unknown reasons. When we got to the MRT, we had to wait for 4 minutes. I was upset. "Why so long?" I thought to myself. But even the worst situations past, so, the train eventually arrived. I was put out of my misery and boarded the train feeling triumphant that I did not let this setback bother me. While I was in the train cabin, I felt immense boredom. Thus, I decided to try queueing for Harry Styles' concert tickets (just for fun, did not plan on purchasing). After we got off at Little India, we got a little lost (haha, Little India, little lost). But, as usual, I did not let small unexpected events bother me (expect the unexpected). We then followed the instructions of my trusty pal, Google Maps to navigate our way to Opp Rochor Stn. Along the way, I was overcome by the temptation to get Starbucks because of my enabler and fellow journey mate, Wendy Lim Xiao Xuan. Because of our short stop at Starbucks, we missed the bus 980 and had to wait for more than 10 minutes. I was utterly devastated and exhausted. Not only did we have to walk for 10 minutes in the hot sunny sun in long, thick pants (although only mine were thick), we also had to wait for the bus. I was losing my mind. Thankfully, the bus arrived at the estimated timing given on the bus app. When we boarded, I was unable to balance. But that was not surprising, because, since when have I been able to balance on the bus? I also noted that the bus made MRT-like sounds. It was surely an eye opener (more like ear opener...hahaha). Once we alighted, we were hit by a stroke of luck and managed to find our very fellow and very dear squadmates at the Army Market without trouble (NPCC is my life, my squadmates are nice, aju nice). We then bought our necessary supplies. Additionally, I witnessed a very interesting scene where two of my squadmates traded coins for notes with their belongings spread out on the floor (honourable mention to Wendy Lim Xiao Xuan for sitting on the ground). At that point, I was sweating like a sweaty dog and it was not a desirable look at all. I was angsty, edgy, grumpy, and tired. When we left and went to the bus stop, we realised, we missed the bus! We had to wait for close to 10 minutes, just like how we did on the way to Army Market. I was deeply unsatisfied. How could this happen to me? Whatever, I got past that unhappy period of time as well, and we eventually boarded the bus, as well as alighted after a few stops. When we alighted, I realised we had to walk quite a fair bit to get to Bugis Junction. I do not wish to relive my experience and feelings during the walk. Once we got into the mall, we were distracted by Life4Cuts, where we decided to spend $10 at, printing a 4Cut of us (Wendy said she would pay me back at her home, but she did not, and it just occured to me). Then, we were unable to find Popular Bookstore. So we retreated and went to Nex, a place we are much more familiar with. I was exhausted mentally and physically. After the stop at Nex, we went to Wendy's house. She cooked noodles for the both of us (as you can tell I am getting tired of blogging, thus summarising my experience). The noodles tasted good, I liked the tomatoes, yum. Then, we learnt the choreography for KANG DANIEL(!!!!!SO TRUE)'s song "Upside Down". It was not that difficult. We had fun. Then I got tired, so I laid down on the floor/bed. Then I went home. Then I went to mail my buyers' photocards. Then I met my friend, who gave me an advanced birthday present and told me not to open it until my birthday, which caused me to have a dilemma. In the end I fought my dark and dangerous urges and chose to keep the present sealed. Then I practised "Upside Down" choreography again. Then I ate dinner. Then I joined a call with my very dear and close to heart squadmates. And after everyone except Raeann Koong left, I set my mind on this blog (Raeann Is A True One, RIATO). This is my current state of mind. Thank you, good bye.
